Shout & Co. at Home
We spent a month renovating the Shout & Co. HQ between July & August last year, but what you might not know is that we spent a full 5 months renovating our home a year before that (finishing up the last of it about 3 weeks before I gave birth to our 2nd daughter, Alice)
Renovation has always been a key part of our lives - 2017’s renovation was the 2nd major reno we had undertaken since we bought our first home back in 2011.
Take a tour of Shout & Co. at home - here are some before & afters (as you can see, the house we bought was in much need of some TLC). It was a tough process: I remember many late nights spent ripping up carpets, sanding floors, varnishing them, tearing out the kitchen and replacing it with all new cabinetry. I also remember what it felt like to look at all when we were done only to realize just how much we’d accomplished by ourselves in such a short space of time.
If you’re weighing up whether or not to renovate your home, I would highly recommend it (but only if you are prepared for hard work and a very dirty house!). We love renovating so I’m sure it won’t be our last.
