SHOUT & CO. Account Coordinator

The Role:
The Account Coordinator will assist our Account Manager with day-to-day client management. Their role is to liaise, manage and coordinate our long list of retainer clients to ensure we are on strategy, within deadline and delivering content in line with the briefs we receive.


The Company:
Shout & Co. was established in 2017 as a sole trader and has grown swiftly into a 4-person team. We do Digital Marketing and Content Creation including photography, videography and social media management. We are a hard-working and dedicated team (which includes Millie the English Bulldog, Duchess the Ragdoll Cat and 2 young kids and part time models) - and we’re growing quickly! Skills & Experience:
This permanent, part-time role is primarily office based at our HQ on the North Shore in Auckland, entailing the following tasks:

  • Day-to-day managing and fielding of Shout & Co. client requirements

  • Fetching briefs from clients, interpreting them and following up where required

  • Liaising with clients regarding briefs, requirements and scheduled shoot times

  • Assisting our Account Manager with client tasks and associated projects

  • Compiling the content prepared for clients and sending out

  • Traffic management of retainer client requirements

  • Maintaining Shout & Co.'s content creation calendar

  • Ensuring alignment of content created with strategy approved

  • Some copywriting and content creation

Successful candidates will have the following skills:

  • ESSENTIAL: Is a self-starter and doesn’t need to be micromanaged to stay on task

  • Pleasant phone and email manner

  • Good spelling and grammar

  • Organised, neat and systematic

  • Readiness to learn

  • Honest, reliable and dependable

  • Comfortable around kids, dogs and cats

  • Experience working with Google Drive, Dropbox, Excel and Canva

  • Own car

Skills advantageous but not essential:

  • Some account management experience

  • Some design experience

  • Some copywriting / content creation experience

Hours & Remuneration:

  • This is a part-time (school hours) permanent position: between 18 and 30 hours (negotiable)

  • Salary: Between $20 - $25 per hour, depending on experience

Selection process:

  • Applications close 18 July 2021

  • Shortlisted candidates will be notified by 30 July and will be invited for an interview at the Shout & Co. studio

  • Interviews will take place during the first 2 weeks of August

  • The successful candidate to start as soon as possible in August

Candidate must have the necessary visas / legal right to live and work in New Zealand and have a valid drivers licence.
