Weekly Round Up: 19 April 2022

Happy Easter from the Shout & Co. team! We hope that your long weekend was filled with loads of quality family time, good food and even better chocolatey treats.

We’re back in the studio and because of the shorter weeks, our schedule is JAM PACKED with shoots and content creation.

We’re into the 3rd week of the month, so all this week we’ll be laser focused on getting May content shot and written for our retainer clients.

We start by compiling our list of learnings from the previous content period, any important dates to include in May (like Mother’s Day), any ideas that we’ve brainstormed for the content and imagery, as well as any notes from the client, like promotions / deals / offers that they’d like to communicate.

We then populate each client’s content template with these notes and imagery guides and hand them over to our copywriter who writes all the content, adds emojis and updates the hashtags.

While that’s happening, Jamie and I are in the studio, creating the visual content in line with the notes from the template.

Normally by this time of the month we’ve wrapped up our one-off projects so that we can focus on just shooting retainer content, but we’ve had so many briefs come in for standalone shoots that we’ll be working across both this week.

This week, we’ll be shooting:

  • Skincare

  • Chocolate bars

  • Baking products

  • Gift cards

  • Art products

  • Headshots on location

  • Tortilla chips

  • Protein shakes

  • Dog food and treats

Our May workload is looking similar to April’s, with countless briefs and new retainer clients coming on board. As a result, we’re now fully booked until June! So we owe you a big THANK YOU for your support if you’ve booked a shoot with us! And if you’re looking at working with us, we’re excited to work with you from June!
